Also, people should stop taking Satoshi’s word for gospel. While he/she was an insanely clever character (or group of people), people are not infallible. He wanted to be “electronic cash” but it’s currently not going in that direction.

Bitcoin, as it is, is more suited for being “digital gold”. If you want other uses, you should supplement it with other coins.
